What is Shapiro's Angels?
Shapiro's Angels is a unique program designed to empower local organizations and Shapiro team members in making a lasting impact in their communities. Shapiro's Angels aligns with the purpose of "Making the Planet Better Together," providing an opportunity for individuals to give back to their communities while working on their own personal development.
Through this program, participants can transform their passion and interests into actionable projects that benefit their local communities.
Eligibility Requirements
For an organization to be eligible for Shapiro's Angels, the organization must be a 501(c)(3).
More than one Shapiro team member can choose the same organization. If this happens, each participant will be asked to focus on different projects.
The program is open to any organization that meets these requirements. Whether it is a small or large non-profit, if it's committed to making a difference in the community, Shapiro's Angels is a perfect way to support a cause our team members are passionate about.
Success Criteria
Shapiro's Angels judges will evaluate projects based on how the charitable organization is impacted, team member growth and alignment with our purpose of “Making the Planet Better Together.”
Award
The top three projects submitted receive awards of $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500.
How to Apply for Shapiro's Angels
A Step-by-Step Guide
Shapiro team members who are eligible to support an organization must submit an entry form to participate.
Participants who choose to compete for additional grants are encouraged to be creative in their presentations.
