A perfect day for Tim ends with every item crossed off his to-do list. For Tim, marketing scrap metal to great consumers and helping deliver quality materials is very fulfilling. When he's away from work, Tim enjoys camping, fishing, and sightseeing outdoors with his family.

Juan Aranda

Juan's role is to solve recycling challenges for manufacturers by selling our customized scrap management services programs. He enjoys the mentorship he receives regularly in his role because it helps him grow and achieve more success. Juan's ultimate goal is always getting to "yes!" He is a U.S. Armed Forces veteran who believes in living life to the fullest, and outside of the office, the thing he loves the most is spending time with his family.

Jeffrey Cox

In his over two decades at Shapiro, one thing that Jeff never gets tired of is learning about manufacturing operations and getting to know a wide variety of unique, innovative companies. When Jeffrey was starting out in sales here at Shapiro, he spent time working in our plants and learning the trade, which remains one of his favorite memories of his long tenure. His deep understanding of not only manufacturing operations but how our business works on the plant side has allowed him to serve as a coach and mentor to many sales professionals in our organization. In Jeffrey's free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, collecting baseball memorabilia, and traveling. He's also one heck of a handyman and can play the drums!

Marc joined Shapiro Metals in 2013 and plays a key role in our sales team at the corporate office in St. Louis. He is a firm believer in being fully present every moment during every interaction he has with our customers and potential customers. Marc has a great ability to understand people and gain insights into their individual needs, which helps us deliver tailored solutions to a wide variety of manufacturers. Marc finds his role exciting and loves when he can focus on meeting more people who need Shapiro's help. And did we mention that he's also a Sales Ninja?

Starting with Shapiro Metals in the early 2000s, Terry's role in Customer Service ensures our customers receive the level of care and personal service they've come to expect from their partnership with us. The feeling of being part of the family is another reason that Terry continues to grow his career here at Shapiro. His favorite memories include company dinners with all the Dickson employees. When he's away from work, Terry enjoys landscaping and music—especially playing the trumpet.

Building relationships with manufacturing companies and helping them secure their metals recycling streams is what comprises Chris's role here at Shapiro Metals. He enjoys working with a great group of people where his values are aligned with the culture of the organization. One of the most rewarding memories in Chris's time at Shapiro is the opening and continued growth of our Decatur, AL plant. Chris is also a veteran. When he isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, gardening, and listening to hard rock and heavy metal music. The force is also strong with this one—he's a big Star Wars fan!
